Mar. 20, 1953 - Holiday ship capsizes after burning through out the night. The Kronprinz Frederik on her side at Harwich.: The 3, 895 ton Danish passenger ship Kronprinz Frederik, which was built slowly during the German occupation and kept unseaworthy by the Danes last night. Firemen and engines from all over Essex fought the flames. she was on her side this morning. Photo shows firemen standing on the side of the capsized vessel - after she had been burned out at Harwich - this morning
