Apr. 14, 1953 - The discovery prepares for visit to the Antarctic six boys from Arethusa aboard: Six boys from the Shaftesbury Homes training ship Arethusa are in the crew of the the Discovery II at the Black wall Dock, where she is preparing for her visit to the Antarctic. The vessel left the Dock this morning for Flymouth from which she sails on April 17th. Photo shows Rome of the young Arethusa Boys on the rigging of the Discovery at the Blackwall Dock today
