1954 - Former Blue Legionnaires Return to Spain After Year On Soviet Concentration Camps: Plenty Off excitement was recently experienced in the Mediterranean when 286 Spaniards - mostly members of the Former Blue Legionnaires - who fought against the Russian with German during the war - were welcomed back to Spain. More than 20, 000 relatives gathered in Barcelona to greet the prisoners who have just been released from Soviet Concentration Camps - where many of them have been for more than eleven years.
