Feb. 02, 1954 - New Liner has Maiden voyage this month: The new P and O liner Arcadia, 28-000 tons, which was built by John Brown's at Clydebank, is due to leave to Port of London on her maiden voyage to Australia on February 22. She will carry 670 first class passengers and 735 tourist class passengers. Photo shows Electric Deck Scrubbers take the hard work out of scrubbing the Arcadia's promenade deck at Tilbury today
