Feb. 02, 1954 - Cutty Sark Leaves Greenithe: The Cutty Sark left Greenhithe today on the first stage of her last voyage which will eventually take the Cutty Sark to her parent home port of Greenwich. Capot.Gordon Steele, V.C. (Captain Superintendent of H.M.S.Worcester), who with his officers and men and the cadets of the Training Ship has take care of the Cutty Sark over the last 15 years, saw the last of the helicopters leave Greenhithe in the two of the Gondia.
