Aug. 08, 1953 - Raising The Kronprins Frederik'. Efforts to raise the sunken Danish liner, Kronprins Frederik, which capsized and sank after being swept by fire at Harwich, in April, are being made today. Salvage men have been working for months on the ship, and work began to lift her.
