Aug. 08, 1954 - He Plans To Sail Round Th World: 21-Year old Wolfgang Kraker Von Schwarzenfeid, sailed into Newhavemn during the week-end on a raft with sails in which he plans to said around the World.The raft is home made - a platform lashed to two cylinder shaped floats. Under the floats are storage tanks holding 110 gallons of fresh water.Wolfgang navigates and sleeps on one float.The other is his galley and storeroom.
