Feb. 02, 1953 - Floods - At Sheerness Docks Frigate on Her Side- Submarine Sink: Photo shows Aerial view shoeing the scene at Sheerness Docks - showing a frigate lying in her side half-submerged. Nottom left band corner is the spot where the submarine Sidar Sank. Heavy dock side equipment ha been scattered along with splintered planks and shattered crates - This was part of the damages left by the heavy waters. The Sirdar was the craft used on the film Morning Departure
