Feb. 02, 1953 - The captain of the Turkish 8000-ton motor vessel Raman - which was repaired by the Weser Ag, for DM 1.500, 000 - wanted to escape without having paid for the bill. During the night she had secretly put to sea out of the dockyard the captain no longer thinking of the repair costs. The German sea police-force caught the ship in the Weser estuary after a long boat-race'. Four Policemen boarded the Raman and forced the captain by threats to return
