1953 - The Ocean leaves Malta for another spell of Duty in Korean Waters.: Wives and friends on the bastion walls overlooking the Grand Harbour, wave farewell good-luck to the aircraft carrier H.M.S. Ocean as she leaves for another small of duty in Korean Waters. Ocean has been refitted in Malts. She went to Malta from Korea where the achivements of her air group won them the Boyd Trophy for 1952 in which is awarded for the best performances in Naval aviation each year
