Sep. 23, 1954 - Polish Crew Mutiny - Seven New Seize Polish trawler and team into English Port: Seven members of the crew of the Polish trawler Puszczyk seized control of the 150 ton vessel after staging a mutiny aboard. After locking the captain and the remaining eight members of the crew in their cabins they steamed into Whitby, Yorkshire, Harbor, and asked for political asylum.
