Jan. 14, 1955 - Ice vessel prepares to sail for the Antarctic. Ready to sail from Millwall docks: The M.V. Norsel a Norwegian Ice vessel which has been chartered by the Falkland Island Dependencies Government to assist the Royal Reasearch Ship John Biscoa in her relief of British bases in the Antarctic was to be seen preparing to leave Millwall docks this afternoon. Photo shows two members of the crew seen aboard the Norsel at Millwall Docks today. They are L-R: A.J. Rennie (Ass. Surveyor) from Leeds and G.A. Farquhar a Wireless Operator who comes from Uddingtone, Lanarkshire
