Sep. 06, 1955 - First polish warships to visit Britain since the war arrive at porsmouth.: Two Polish destroyer, the Blyskwica and Burza, arrived at Portsmouth today at the invitation of the British Royal Navy. It is the first official visit of Polish warships to this county since the war. Photo shows the Hlyskawica (2144 tons) firing a gun salute as she enters Portsmouth Dockyard today
