Jun. 06, 1955 - The R.N. Expermental submarine comes to London. Unusual dome on the bows: H.M.S. Thermopulae commander by Lieut. Commander W.D. Scott R.N. is now on a visit to London and was to be seen at the East India Dock this afternoon. She was built at Chatham in 1945 and has been modernised and recommissioned..She has been lengthened and stream-lined and is used mainly for experimental purposes.
