Jun. 06, 1955 - The R.N. Experimental Submarine comes to London Strange Dome on the Bows. H.N.E. Thermopylae commanded by Lieut. Commander W.D. Scott R.N. is now on a visit to London and was to be seen at the East India Dock this afternoon. She was built at Chatham in 1945 and has been moderniedlengthened and is now used mainly for experimental purposes. She has been streamlined and has also been fitted with a strange looking dome on the bows.
