Sep. 14, 1956 - Egypt Press Greek Ship - Bound For Israel.Held for Three Months at Port Salds - The Greek ship Panagia a Vessal of 400 tons, under charter to Israel, arrived at Haifa recently from Pirt Said where arrested on May 26th. by the Egyptians and held for more than three months.She was going through the Sues - bound from Haifa to Eilat on the Gulf of Akaba.After being stopped at Port Said an Egyptian Police Watch was posted and the crows were not allowed to land, or to bathe in the sea.Three members of the crew were taken ill - one with acute dysentery.
