Oct. 10, 1956 - The Atlantic voyagers are sailing in. Mr.Bert Smith (28) and Mr. Alan Battersby (28) aboard their 26 ft. home made Ketch Orenda were seen off the coat of Cornwall today making for Dartmouth Devon - where they will complete an Atlantic Voyage which started when they left Canada 56 days ago.. Their wives are waiting to greet them at Dartmouth. Photo shows boat goes out to greet the Orenda with Mr. Smith and Mr.Battersby aboard in the Channel today
