1957 - The Mayflower 11 Under Sail At Lats: The Mayflower 11 travelled under sail for the first time her skipper - Commander Allan Villers, took her for a three hour trip in Brixham Devon Bay. The replica of the vessel used by the Pilgriom Fathers in their historical journey from Plymouth to Plymouth, Mass. In 1620, is expected to sail over the same course this week-end.
