1957 - The Mayflower II under sail - at last.: The Mayflower II travelled under sail for the first time yesterday - when her skipper - commander Alan Villiers took her for a three hour trip in Brixham, Devon, Bay. The replica of the original Mayflower is expected to leave Brixham today for Plymouth - for start of the journey over the same wourse to plymouth. Mass - taken by the famous Pilgrim Father in 1620.
