Jun. 06, 1957 - NewJapanese tanker enters the water. 21, 100 vessel launched at Yokosuka. The 21, 100 ton Japanese built tanker Fujikawa Maru enters the water at the Uraga Dookyard, Yokosuka former base of the Imperial Japanese navy during her recent launching. The ceremony was carrie out by a schoolgirl Akiko Makazana daughter of Rokuro Nakazawa, managing director of the Kawasaki Steamship company for whom the tanker was built
