Sep. 21, 1957 - After Flying Saucer- Sailing Saucer: A small craft, nicknamed sailing saucer, will be one of the attractions of the annual marine show shortly to open in Paris. The craft is a round raft extremely easy to manage which can float on theot, turn in all directions like a top. It is made of Plastic matter 8 times lighter than cork. It is 2m. in diameter and equipped with a 3 H.P. engine developing a speed of 6 to 10 kilometres per hour. Photo shows The Sailing Saucer being tested the river saone, near Paris
