Jul. 07, 1958 - Brigntine Arrives In London: The 117-ft brigntime, Albratros'. owned and captained by American novelist, Ernest K. Gann, which left New York on June 15th, arrived at Tower Bridge today, after being delayed by bad weather in the Atlantic. Among the crew is Dodie Post, who was Captain of the U.s. Women's Olympic team in 1948, and who is one of the few women navigators ever to guide a sailing ship on a trans -ocean voyage. Photo shows Dodie Post and Ernest K.
