Mar. 03, 1957 - Channel Churners: Five fast patrol boats from H.M.S. Hornet, British Navy base at Gosport, England cut loose in a recent exercises in the English Channel. They were two Fairmile D type boats and three Dark Class boats, light coastal craft powered by Napier Deltic engines of very high performance and readily adaptable for use either as motor torpedo boats or motor gun boats.
