Nov. 11, 1959 - A Scooter Arrives - By Gondola. At a pre-luncheon cocktail party in London, F. H. Radford Ltd, will introduce Capri Scooter Ltd. (Nottingham) into a highly competitive field. The star motor scooter - Italian light weight model, designed primarily for the feminine market - arrived at Westminster Pier by Gondola.
