Jun. 06, 1959 - Captain and Crew of Abandoned Ocean Layer Arrive at Falmouth: Captain Antony Mcpherson Ross, Master of the Abandoned Cable ship Ocean Layer and members of his crew arrived at Falmouth last night aboard the German freighter Flavia'. the burned out cable hip is being towed to port by the German tug Wotan'. Photo Shows Ken Guy(17) of Herne Bay and Keith Marshall(15) of Abbey wood with a model of the Bismark given to the Ocean Layer Crew by the Chief cook of the Flavia on arrival at Falmouth. the boys are the Youngest members of the Crew
