Boats - Sailing - Ships

Jul. 07, 1955 - The bill of former German liner Europa was given back to the Norddeutsche Lloyd at Bremerhaben: The Europa was confiscated by US-Navy on the end of the war, and is the French Liberte now. The US-Navy kept the bell as a souvenir then, and now commander Charles B. Moses (R.) Handed it over to her director Bertram, General Manager of the Norddeutsche Lloyd (Left): In the middle you see the Europa-bell
