Dec. 12, 1958 - Chicken-Pox Puts Finish Family in a spot as they Emigrate to Australia.: The Peltonen family, father, mother, and five children, were on their way to start a new life in Australia. But now the would-be migrants who sold up their home in Finland and sailed for London on board the Russian liner Baltika, are downhearted. At sea 7-year-old Maaret developed chicken-pox and when the ship docked at Tilbury on Monday she was sent by ambulance to an isolation hospital at Gravesand.
