Feb. 26 Transfer at sea of Seaslug missile.: In a specially constructed cage, a dummy Seaslug missile, the Royal Navy's medium range anti-aircraft weapon, is swung from the H.M.S. Girdle Ness, guided weapong trials ship, to the Retainer, Royal Fleet Auxilliary fast replenishment vessel, during replenishment at sea tests in the Mediterranean. It is about to be landed on the Fo'o'sle of the Girdle Ness, forward of the launching ramp used by the ship during firing and evaluation trials. The Seaslug is being fitted in the four ships of the Hampshire class due to be completed in the early 1960's
