Feb. 29 Unicef will begin loading a 5, 000 ton shipment of food destined for children starving in all combat-affected areas of Nigeria, Friday, 9 August, in Houston, Texas. Paul Edwards, Director of information of UNICEF, will be on hand, to assist news media and will be available for TV or radio inter-views. Unicef will provide, on request, raw film footage. The ship, Orient Exporter of the Orient Mideast Lines, will be loading at city Dock, Pier #15, Houston. At Houston, the following foods, especially needed by children suffering protein malnutrition, will be loaded: 1, 505 tons of powdered milk 492 tons of butter oil 1093 tons of csm ( corn-soy-milk blended food ). Later, at New Orleans, 1, 913 tons of CSM will be loaded. The food was donated by the United States Government
