Feb. 29 Last of the Ancient tea clipers the Cutty Sark settles in her final home; The world's most famous ship the Cutty Sark has now been installed in her specially prepared dry dock at Greenwich. The vessel is the last of ancient tea-clippers and is being re-fitted and re-rigged as a permanent link with the East. She was built in 1869. The installation of the vessel at Greenwich has been organized by the Cutty Sark preservation society.
