Feb. 29 GOLDEN HINDE EDGES THROUGH It was definitely a case of all hands to the ropes this morning as the full-scale replica of Drake's Golden Hinde inched her way through the narrow lock into St. Katharines Dock, where she remains today before returning to her berth at Tower Pier on Tuesday morning. The ship is open to the public from 10am to sunset seven days a week until 1 September, when she leaves to begin the fitting out for her voyage to America in early October
