THE ENDEAVOUR SAILS AGAIN. Captain cook's Endeavour put to sea again recently. But this time the Endeavour put out from a sandy beach on Australia's Narrabean Lakes, rounded Sydney model Wendy Penton, of Crows Nest, and headed back to shore. The latest Endeavour is a 6ft long, 6ft high scale model of the original Vessel. It was built by brothers Bruce and Red Usher, of Crowns Nest, Bruce and Rod were commissioned by the Museum nearly two years ago to build a replica of Captain Cook's craft. The Vessel was such a success, and so impressive, that the brothers decided to build one for themselves. it was the second Endeavour which set sail on the Narrabean Lakes.
