Mar. 22 Last of the ancient tea clippers..The Cutty Sark settles in her final home: The world's most famous sailing ship the Cutty Sark has now been installed in her specially prepared dry dock at Greenwich. The vessel - which is the last of the ancient tea clippers is being re-fitted and re-rigged - as a permanent link with the past. She was built in 1869. The installation of the vessel at Greenwich has been organised by the Cutty Sark Preservation Society.
