Jun. 06, 1961 - Shot at Trawler arrives back: The 274-ton British trawler, Red Crusader, which was shelled by the Danish frigate Niels Ebbesden on Tuesday, sailed into Aberdeen Harbour last night, escorted by two ships of the Royal Navy. On shore crew members told how skipper Ted Wood asked them if they were prepared to run for it, after the Niels Ebbesden had stoppeed the trawler near the Farce Islands on Monday night and put seven Danes aboard. Mr. Frank Finnie, 33-year old second fishermen described how the Danish frigate opened fire when she spotted the Red Crusader escaping.
