Nov. 11, 1961 - Longboat From Tristan Da Cunha On Show At Royal Exchange Sir Frederick Hoare the new Lord Mayor of London - visited the Royal Exchange exhibition of a 30 ft. Longboat from Tristan da Cunha. The exhibition is part of a campaign to raise £50, 000 to equip and settle the evacuated islanders in their new homes.
