Jun. 06, 1962 - British was ships visit the Kieler Woche in Germany This morning the frigates HMS Virago and HMS Venus of the 17th frigates flotilla of the British Home fleet went through the North Baltic Canal to the German seaport Kiel. After greeting the German warships with a salute of 21 shots they landed between the German ships at the Tirpitz Mole.
