Jun. 21, 1962 - Federal President Lubke visits the Kieler Woehe'...on board the yacht Ashanti, the Federal President drove past all German and foreign warships the sailors of which had drawn up in their blue-white parade uniform. Passing the Tirpin mole the warships fired a 42 shots salute. OPS: The yacht Ashanti of the Bremen shipowner Burmester which hoisted the President Standard, in honour of the high guest.
