Mar. 03, 1961 - Kayak Commandos try to delay mooring of United States Submarine depot ship Proteus in Holy Loch; The United States submarine depot ship Proteus arrived in the holy loch, firth of Clyde this morning and demonstrators against the Polaris Base in Britain. Using Kayaks trues to delay the mooring of the vessel. One by one they were swamped by the wash of thrown into the water. They had to be fished out by the police.
