Feb. 02, 1963 - The Captain's Barge - 1963 Version: An entirely new version of the famous captain's Barge - is being employed by the new British Cargo liner Bearably - now on her maiden voyage to the far east. It is the hydrofoil; craft made in Holland by a British Controlled company. She rises on two steel legs when traveling at Speed - his 22 ft.long -0 and has a top speed of 30 knots. It is expected that the hydrofoil will save much time in port - in fact the Captain will be the fastest skipper;on two legs'.
