Nov. 13, 1963 - A Tanker longer than the Rue Royale in Paris: Built in Saint Nazaire, France, for the Shell Maritime, the new giant tanker has been christianed in Le Havre by the city's archipriest Max Huet, while Mrs. Loudon wife of the President of the Royal Dutch was god mother. The Tanker (80, 000) measures 259 meters long (longer than the rue Royale between the Madeliene and the Place de la Concorde in Paris) 35 meters large, and is one of the biggest tankers now in service in Europe.
