Dec. 12, 1963 - Submarine in Ammersee: On the western shore of the Ammersee (Bavaria) during some time experiments are made with an one man submarine. A firm from Hamburg let in water of Ammersee a new model of such a boat. It weighs 500 kilo is 1.70 m high, 2.50 m long and 70 cm wide. In the cabin with a roof from plexiglass, one man can sit.The submarine is made for repair of ships under water, for examinations of dams and as bordboat. It reaches a deepness of 75 meters. Photo shows the Mini-Submarine, which shall cost ca. 6000 Mark, before the expedition under water (at the top) and after the test at the bottom
