May 05, 1962 - The hitherto greastest French naval visit.. has entered the Hamburg harbour, to-day. The Hanse town is very well prepared: as soon as the aircraft carrier Clemenceau and the cruiser Colbert as well as 8 destroyers and convoy ships have fastened in the harbour, there were be displayed a mammoth program: ball in the famous Hamburg Curichaus, a twist contest on St. Pauli, the compulsory visit to the town hall in inspections of the zonal boundary and Mauer in Berlin. The German vanguard has arrived already during the weekend. 3 destroyers and 10 E- Boats of the Federal navy will put to sea on the 1st of June and Participate in a maneuver in the North Sea.
