1964 - Sovereign shows her paces.': Trails are being held in Waymouth Bay to decide who shall have the chance to race for Britain against America for the America's Cup. The present trials are between Sceptre and Sovereign, each with a crew of 10, of whom 11 will be chosen to crew Sovereign, and even then, they will have to prove themselves superior to another British yacht Kurrewa V in further trials that will take place before the race in September.
