Feb. 25 Frenchman builds an exact replica of a battleship Mr. Merian, of Lortent (Brittany) has built an exact relica of the warship Richelieu. All the proportions were respected and no detail is missing. The model is 8 feet long and 1 foot wide. All the parts were carefully assembled by Mr. Merian himself. Work began in June 1955 and Mr. Merian has calculated that he spent 13, 600 hours on it. OPS: Mr. Merian with his work. 110164/Keystone
