Boats - Sailing - Ships

Nov. 11, 1960 - Bottle Ships en gros.: A probably unique wharf is owned by ship engineer Georg A. Bahr (Georg A. Bahr) of Bremen/Northern Germany. Since 30 years, he is launching series of bottle ships. When making his voyage across the world oceans, he learned to get small ship models into (empty) bottles, with much patience and many and many sucks on his pipe. As the interest for these souvenir was very great, he started to sell these bottle ships. Soon he could have sold far more than he could produce so he gave orders to other skulful people to produce these ships for him. Now he started to sell a box in which all parts necessary for such a bottle ship are contained so that now his customers can also make them themselves
