Feb. 02, 1964 - Launching if the World's first passenger submarine: Yesterday at Le Bouveret on Lake Geneva, the mesosoaphe submarine August Piccard was launched. The boat which is the World's first passenger carrying submarine will be one of the main attractions for visitors to the forthcoming Swiss National Exhibition at Lausanne.
