1965 - Propane Tanker From Texas Docks At Felixstower: The world's second largest liquid propane tanker - the 22, 000 ton Paul Endacott docked at Felixstows - yesterday - the largest vessel ever to visit an East Anglian Port. Her cargo of 11, 000 tons of liquid propane launched a 15 year contract to supply 40, 000 tons a year to the Eastern Gas Board. The propane from Houston, Texas - will be fed into Europe's largest storage tank, which has been built nearby and from there it will be fed along a 48 mile pipeline to Norwich - where it will be used to supplement the domestic gas supply in Norfolk and parts ofuffolk.
