Oct. 08, 1962 - Submarine Sailor On A Scooter: Royal Navy Stoker John Alford cDisc Jockey Wolfman Jack, and Radio Carolline principal Paul Collins aused raised eyebrows in Munich Harbour when he pulled a scooter from a hatoh of his submarine H.M.S. Acheron and drove it off the dock onto the wharf. Stoker Alford is the only man in the Royal Navy who has permission to keep his motor-scooter on board with him.
