Jul. 07, 1963 - Seventy Seater Hoverbest passenger service inaugurated on the River Thames. This morning Sir Ralph perring the Lard Mayor of London and Lady Perring were passengers aboard the 70 seater D.2. Denny Hoverbus when is made its first official appearance on the River Thames. A Number of other V.IP's took part in the trip from the Royal festival Hall to tower Pier. A bar is being fitted in the craft and Londoners and visitors will be able to make trips from Festival Pier at a time. Photo shows Looking down on the D2.
