Aug. 08, 1967 - Lone Atlantic Sailor Arrives At Plymouth: 37-year old William Wallace, who teaches maths at a school in Houston, Texas, and is also a sailing club instructor, arrived in Plymouth on Friday (Aug 4), after a 3, 000 mile solo voyage across the Atlantic in his 22ft. fibre glass yacht Hespar'. Mr. Wallace left Marlon, Massachusetts, U.S.A. on June 24th.
